Camp Agape is a summer camp dedicated to serving children and families of incarcerated parents. Statistics show that children with incarcerated parents are more likely to end up in the prison system. Camp Agape serves a key role in helping break this cycle and bring true restoration into families. At camp, children spend a fun-filled weekend hanging out with peers, enjoying outdoor activities and building relationships with caring adults and teen mentors. Most importantly, through corporate worship services and Bible teaching, the children experience the saving power of the Gospel and learn to apply valuable core truths of trust, love, forgiveness, and hope.
Camp Agape California Directors Jon and Liz Vallejo have a passion for at-risk youth and desire for Southern California churches to pour into the lives of these needy children and their families. After leading their first camp with 115 children and over 200 volunteers, Jon and Liz and the Camp Agape team are preparing and praying for an even larger turnout in 2018. You can support the Camp Agape team through praying, donating financially, and by volunteering at camp as well as throughout the year.
